MSU works with teachers at the Texas State Aquarium
In November 2013, the International Ocean Discovery Program contributed to a teacher workshop run by educators Leslie Peart, Julia Dooley, and Alison Mote at the Texas State Aquarium. Drs. Sandra Passchier from Montclair State and Phil Rumford from the Gulf Coast Core Repository in College Station were there to show some of the cores that were collected during IODP Expedition 318 to Antarctica.

Antarctic Ice Sheet Triggered a Unique Marine Ecosystem
Recently published in Science: work from a collaboration with Utrecht University using materials collected during IODP Expedition 318 to the Wilkes Land margin of Antarctica. Here at Montclair State University laser particle size data was collected to mark the onset of Antarctic ice growth.
